Hey friends,
This is where the next chapter of Mycelium begins – new address, new concept, and of course, more new music.
New address: mycelm.com
Why “mycelm”? Because in mycelium there’s no “I” or “U” – it’s all of us, connected in beautiful togetherness. (Well, and that domain was taken, obviously, hehe)
New concept:
What started as a hidden corner of my website – a little paywall space for my full discography – is now growing into something bigger. Mycelium 2.0 is becoming its own independent project: part archive, part community, part label.
It’s built for underground, unsigned, and mostly queer artists who refuse to play by the rules of exploitative streaming platforms. Together, we want to push back against a culture where music gets treated like it’s disposable – and instead build a space where art, care, and connection come first.
Two sides of the blog:
- The dark side: stories of capitalist horror, of what it’s like to navigate a system that often works against those without privilege.
- The bright side: sharing the sparks of life – schedules of underground events, new creations, and all the exciting things bubbling up in our communities.
So here we go. Mycelium 2.0 is now in progress, and I can’t wait to see where we take it together.
With love,
Gene Sophia Bogolepov
