I am Gene Sophia Bogolepov (they/she), an artist and queer activist. My career began more than 20 years ago in Russia, but I was forced to flee the Putin regime—to be reborn in Berlin and start anew. I created and now administer the platform Mycelium, run my own website, organize concerts and tours, DJ, and perform in films and shows. Along the way, I’ve committed to playing gigs sober and encouraging fans to enjoy the music with a clear mind. 

Mycelium is my own platform—an alternative to what the music industry currently offers.

It is a subscription-based platform that hosts a continuously growing collection of artworks by me and other artists. There, you can stream and download ALL MY music—including songs that cannot be found on any other streaming platform.
